Working with Curatorial Team at the Barbican, was a wonderful opportunity for us. We provided 6 projectors and 7 screens for the project, with continuing remote and on-site support for the 6 month duration. We also demonstrated an effective design with an affordable and reliable playback system that controlled all of the automated start-up shutdown procedures of the projectors and screens, with no input required from gallery staff for daily operation. The artist was really keen that his work was presented as intended with ProRes playback and 4k resolution, this presented some challenges with the budget, but we were able to work closely with the artist and his team to design solution that met all these requirements, including creative solutions for file sizing, synchronisation across multiple playback servers and within server storage limits.
