In response to the pandemic constraints of 2020, LUX Technical delivered a full audio package for a broadcast-scale charity livestream: Amazon Prime Day Live, featuring performances from Lewis Capaldi (Edinburgh), Celeste (London), and Cate Le Bon (Cardiff). The two-hour multi-city digital concert was produced in under three weeks in collaboration with Amazon Music, Jubba, and agency partners, raising support for Music Venue Trust.

Objectives:

To create a broadcast-quality audio experience across three separate locations under tight time constraints, ensuring seamless performance delivery and viewer engagement across Twitch platforms.

Brief:

Provide rider-friendly, high-quality audio packages — including monitoring, mixing, and RF mic systems — in each city, and deliver reliable onsite technical support that integrated effectively with video and agency teams.

Project Fulfilment

Technical Design & Equipment:

Monitoring Package: D&B audio monitors for artist and performance fidelity.
Mix Consoles: Yamaha and DiGiCo desks deployed for fine-grained control at each venue.
Wireless Microphones: Sennheiser 6000 series RF systems with DPA 2028 mic capsules for clean, reliable performance audio.
Backline Provision: Ensured instruments and equipment met artist requirements and supported performance needs.

Coordination & Delivery:

LUX technicians were on site across all three locations, collaborating directly with video and agency partners throughout the livestream. We provided quick setup, seamless technical execution, and real-time troubleshooting — critical for a live, multi-location broadcast on a tight schedule.
