How we use disciplines
We group our capabilities into two complementary categories: Services and Disciplines. Services define what we deliver. Disciplines define how we deliver it.
We group our capabilities into two complementary categories: Services and Disciplines. Think of them as the building blocks of our approach – services define what we deliver, while disciplines define how we deliver it.
Disciplines are the specialist skills and technical capabilities we apply throughout the project lifecycle.Covering everything from project management and concept development to sound, lighting, fabrication and engineering, we dial in the right expertise at the right time—so your solution is dependable, production-ready and creatively on point.
Project Brief
Services
Services are the major components that shape the direction and scope of a project and allow us to build tailored solutions for our clients.
They come into focus early in the briefing stage and form the framework for our response, and depending on what the brief demands, we may deliver a single service or combine several to create a fully integrated solution.

Staging
Adaptable platforms.
Rock-solid reliability.
Staging plays a fundamental role in event presentation, providing the physical foundation for performances, speakers, and brand activations. From modular corporate platforms to large-scale festival stages and bespoke builds, staging solutions must balance safety, aesthetics, and functionality. They include structural elements, coverings, skirting, ramps, accessibility features, and scenic enhancements.
Creative flexibility, weight-bearing considerations, and environmental adaptability (e.g., weatherproofing) are central to staging design for live events.

Set Build
Bringing creative vision to life.
Set Build is the creative and technical discipline responsible for the physical construction of scenic environments and visual focal points within live, hybrid, and virtual events. It includes custom-branded backdrops, interactive installations, decorative facades, and functional scenic architecture.
Using a combination of CNC machining, carpentry, scenic painting, and vinyl applications, set builds are tailored to deliver brand impact, storytelling, and atmosphere. Solutions vary from lightweight modular flats for corporate stages to elaborate theatrical scenes for concerts or exhibitions.
CNC Branding & Embellishment
CNC machining allows for intricate detailing in wood, foam, or acrylic, offering dimensional branding, thematic décor, and tactile finishes. Often combined with paint, lighting, or metallic foils for added effect.
Bespoke Vinyl Wraps & Graphic Installations
Scenic Backdrops & Flats
Custom Stage Surrounds & Fascia
Experiential & Interactive Set Builds
These include branded photo moments, walk-through structures, AR installations, or product demo booths. Designed to invite participation, often requiring close collaboration with AV, tech, and creative teams.
Temporary Walling & Scenic Dividers
Complex scenic elements such as faux architecture, sculpted props, or kinetic set pieces crafted for drama, artistry, or performance. Techniques include scenic painting, foam carving, and integrated automation.
Modular & Reusable Scenic Systems
Designed for touring, branded roadshows, or budget-conscious events, these systems offer flexibility, rapid deployment, and reduced waste. Includes branded wall kits, re-skinable fascias, and adjustable risers.

Rigging
Precision support.
From the top down.
Rigging is a critical discipline responsible for the safe installation, suspension, and movement of lighting, audio, video, scenery, and special effects equipment in event venues. It encompasses everything from flown truss grids and hoist systems to custom-engineered rigging designs and automation.
A professionally designed rigging system ensures not only technical reliability and structural safety but also supports creative and logistical flexibility. Rigging solutions are tailored to each venue’s limitations, production goals, and safety requirements, often requiring structural calculations, load plans, and compliance with regional regulations.
Aerial Trussing & Grid Systems
Aerial trussing creates a framework for mounting lights, screens, speakers, and scenic elements overhead. Configurations include box trusses, circular trusses, goalpost structures, and mother grids.
These are suspended from venue beams or ground-supported and designed for load distribution, cable management, and safety compliance.
Motorised Hoists & Encoded Motor Systems
Motorised hoists, including chain motors and encoded motors, provide dynamic lifting and precise positioning of overhead elements. Encoded systems allow for programmed movements, load monitoring, and integration with show control systems.
These are essential in concerts, touring, and arena environments where timing and repeatability are critical.
Static Rigging & Dead-Hangs
Static rigging involves suspending equipment from fixed points with no movement capability. It’s commonly used for permanently hung truss or gear that doesn’t require height adjustment during the show.
Accurate weight calculations and structural assessments ensure safe load handling.
Ground Support & Goalpost Systems
Ground support systems use vertical and horizontal truss to create stable load-bearing structures. These are ideal for outdoor events, temporary stages, or venues lacking overhead suspension points.
Load-bearing capacity is carefully calculated based on ballast, wind loads, and structural components.
Automation & Motion-Controlled Rigging
Motion-controlled rigging uses motorized hoists, winches, and tracking systems to move set pieces, lighting trusses, or video walls during a performance. Controlled via software (e.g., Kinesys Vector).
These systems allow for choreographed motion and creative stage dynamics, especially in theatrical or touring productions.
Custom Rigging & Structural Design
When standard configurations aren’t sufficient, custom rigging is engineered to suit complex scenic designs, unusual venues, or technical restrictions.
This involves CAD drawings, structural calculations, and fabrication of custom brackets, mounting systems, or truss elements – ensuring both creativity and compliance.
Safety & Compliance Rigging (Load Monitoring & Redundancy)
Rigging teams conduct pre-rig surveys, load calculations, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Load cells, redundancy cabling, and fail-safe mechanisms are deployed for high-risk or heavy-load installations.
Certification and documentation are essential for insurance and venue approval.
Touring & Temporary Rigging Systems
Designed for rapid build-and-break cycles, touring rigging systems are optimised for efficiency, repeatability, and transport.
They include pre-rigged trusses, labelled motors, colour-coded spansets, and engineered cas – used in music tours, roadshows, and multi-venue productions with consistent rigging needs.
Venue Integration & Pre-Rig Coordination
In-house or third-party rigging teams work with venues to plan pre-rig days, confirm load-bearing points, and align with venue-specific restrictions or requirements.
Site surveys, CAD plans, and fly plot reviews ensure that flown elements are compatible with structural capacity and rigging timelines.

Custom Power Specifications & Planning
Event-specific load calculations, power mapping, and technical documentation (RAMS, single-line diagrams, compliance reports).
Ensures safe integration of all equipment across AV, catering, site lighting, and staging elements.
Ultra-Silent Generators & Remote Monitoring
Ultra-silent diesel or hybrid generators with telemetry systems to track load, runtime, and fuel consumption.
Essential for noise-sensitive sites or long-duration shows, offering reliability and environmental efficiency.
Battery Packs & Portable Recharge Systems
Rechargeable battery systems and portable packs for LED lighting, AV booths, Wi-Fi units, or activations where generators are impractical. Ideal for pop-ups, galleries, and small-scale outdoor setups.
UPS & Redundancy Power Systems
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and redundant circuits protect mission-critical systems like servers, cameras, and control racks.
We don’t just build.
We enable.
Our Build & Infrastructure teams work hand-in-hand with designers, production managers, and creatives to integrate seamlessly with your event goals. With full in-house control over design, logistics, safety compliance, and fabrication – we deliver consistent quality, faster turnaround, and solutions that flex with your needs.
