Many of the team at LUX Technical are highly creative, with backgrounds in the performing and creative arts, and design. Our Creative Installations service brings this artistic perspective and insight to the forefront, and when combined with our technical expertise, allows us to add real value to transforming creative ideas into fully realised, real-world projects.
This blend of creative and technical insight allows clients to lean on our creativity to transform commercial objectives into compelling creative solutions, or engage us as a technical sounding board to translate an existing vision into practical, robust solutions.

From there, we take full responsibility for the technical design, build, integration, and delivery of the final solution.

Technical Delivery Partner
Where creative concepts are already established, we act as your technical sounding board – helping to test, challenge, and strengthen ideas to ensure they are robust, achievable whilst retaining creative intent.
We then assume responsibility for the technical design, build, and delivery.
Technical
Delivery Specialist
We can also support you as a specialist technical delivery partner, responsible for specific elements of a creative installation.
This may include sound, lighting, AV systems, control, technical integration, or supporting infrastructure – delivering focused technical expertise and capability as part of a wider project.

Concept
Development
From the outset, we assign a dedicated project team who immerse themselves in your objectives, working alongside you to explore ideas and translate requirements into a clear production brief.
We use 3D visualisation tools to create mock-ups and walkthroughs that bring concepts to life.*1

We translate the production brief into technical schematics, floorplans, and build and delivery schedules, including logistics, risk assessment and H&S compliance.
This is coordinated with stakeholers and any third-parties contributing to the project.
Build &
Fabrication
Keeping you fully informed, we move into production – building sets, fabricating custom elements, configuring audio, projection, and lighting systems, including the power and distribution, and necessary infrastructure needed to deliver the event.*1
Installation
& Operations
On site, we install, configure, and thoroughly test all technical elements in advance, allowing time for walk-throughs and final refinements.
If the installation is part of an event, we manage all technical operations, allowing your team to focus on front-of-house.*2
*1 Concept Development & Build: depending on the complexity and client requirements, individual elements or the entire solution may be built offsite — usually at our production facility — allowing systems, audience flows, and overall experiences to be tested and evaluated prior to installation.
*2 Installation Support: for longer-term installations, we provide training and ongoing technical support to ensure systems continue to operate effectively and deliver the intended experience over time.
