Project Overview:

A luxury private wedding celebration in Stamford, UK, hosted in an elegant Solstice marquee from the English Marquee Company. Built on a custom Layher platform, with catering tent and covered walkway, the event required a discreet, high-end technical production that complemented the refined styling while delivering concert-quality audio and lighting for speeches, live performances, and the evening party.

Project Overview

Objectives:

To design and deliver a premium technical production that blended seamlessly with the aesthetic of a luxury wedding, meeting rider-specific requirements for a live band and DJ, while providing reliable audio for speeches and ambient lighting for both day and evening.

Brief:

The client required a discreet yet high-spec production package that would enhance the guest experience without dominating the visual setting. This included elegant décor integration, soft and flattering lighting for dinner, high-energy lighting for the party, and a powerful but visually unobtrusive sound system.

Project Fulfilment

Audio & Lighting Design & Deployment:

We supplied an all-white d&b PA system, utilising compact E Series point-source enclosures and VG PA for the live band and DJ. The audio package met full rider specifications, including backline, microphones, IEMs, and an RF package for both performances and speeches. Lighting featured a premium Robe and Ayrton moving fixture setup, soft ambient washes for the dining portion of the evening, and dynamic programming for the party.

Discreet Front-of-House Control:

Control was positioned and dressed to blend with the marquee’s décor, ensuring technical operations remained out of sight while maintaining full functionality.

Collaboration:

We worked closely with the event planners, marquee provider, and florists to integrate mirror balls and dipsaphilia flower arrangements into the truss build, ensuring the technical and decorative elements complemented one another perfectly.
