The d&b E5 is a 2-way super-compact coaxial loudspeaker with a passive crossover network that can be deployed either horizontally or vertically. They can be mounted using the D&B ball joint adapter. The loudspeaker cabinet is weather protected as standard and suitable for outdoor use.
In standard mode the E5 has a frequency response of 85Hz to 20kHz with a 60/400W power handling capacity and can be used with either our D20 or D80 amplifier. The E5 develops a max SPL of 117dB and 4 of these loudpeakers can be used per amplifier channel. The E5 features a ferrite LF driver and a 1″ wide dispersion dome tweeter with a nominal dispersion of 100 degrees. They can be used stand-alone or accompanied a variety of subs from the D&B range.
These speakers are best suited for speech applications and their super compact dimensions make them a perfect box for fills and discreet monitoring applications in conferences, broadcast studios and theatres. Our E5’s are available to hire in black or white enclosures and are cased in 2’s, 4’s and 6’s.
