Project Overview
For the Puma Power Up event at Wapping Hydraulic Power Station, LUX was tasked with creating a complete, event-wide interactive system that seamlessly blended live gameplay, audience engagement, and integrated event infrastructure. The project spanned from pre-event online registration to automated, on-site football challenges.
Objectives:
To design and deliver a seamless interactive journey for Puma guests — from online registration to live challenges — creating an immersive, gamified brand experience that drove engagement and participation.
Brief:
Develop a system capable of assigning tickets based on attendee preferences, issuing RFID wristbands, running automated football challenges, tracking live scores, and allowing guests to instantly view and redeem prizes on-site — all while providing full technical production support for the venue.

Project Fulfilment
Immersive Event Flow:
Guests began their journey with an online sign-up system, selecting preferred times, groupings, and shoe sizes. Upon arrival, attendees checked in, received personalised RFID wristbands, and entered the interactive challenge zones.
Gamified Interactions:
Automated football challenges recorded each player’s performance, with real-time scoring displayed on a live event leaderboard. Guests could scan their wristbands at the prize station to instantly see what they had won.
Complete Event Integration:
Alongside the interactive system, LUX provided the full technical setup, including rigging, audio, lighting, and network infrastructure to ensure stable connectivity and flawless gameplay integration.

The combination of RFID technology, automated challenges, live scoring, and prize redemption created a memorable, fast-paced activation that captured Puma’s energetic brand spirit — and kept attendees engaged from registration to final whistle.
